Overview of the 2017 Honda Accord in San Antonio

Fiesta Honda is excited to tell you that we have tons of options for the 2017 Honda Accord in San Antonio! It’s no surprise to anyone that this new Accord has really broken the boundaries of the affordable and comfortable mid-size car segment. If you’re a current Accord owner then you know what we mean, but if not, you’re in for a treat. Not only is this new Accord an award-winner, the Accord model has been around for more than 40 years now, so you know it is perfection!

So, what can you expect in this new Accord? Well, for starters the 2017 Accord has a grille design that will make you double take when you notice the (available) LED headlights and daytime running lights. The body style is elegant and bold with angular lines and beautifully designed wheels for the perfect combination of sophistication and confidence. It’s not just the headlights that are LED, the taillights are too for 360 degrees of an eye-catching vehicle.

Aside from the exterior, you have some interior features to look forward to. The interior is completely refined to make driving the Accord enjoyable. Features that were created for optimal driving comfort include the ergonomically-designed steering wheel with controls, 10-way adjustable memory seats, one-click shifting gears, a push start button, dual-zone AC, HomeLink®, and a functional center console complete with space for a tablet.

Because safety features are really what make or break a new car decision, let’s talk about those. Honda really had the consumer in mind when designing the new 2017 Honda Accord in San Antonio, and it’s evident in the technology that was implemented. Honda created the Honda Sensing™ suite that will alert you of dangers outside the vehicle when you might not see them yourself. In addition to the Honda Sensing™ suite, there is the Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System and the Road Departure Mitigation System. To put it lightly, the Accord will keep you safe in a variety of scenarios!

Lastly, there is an Accord Hybrid option for those of you who are fuel-conscious. The Accord Hybrid gets an incredible 49/47-MPG city/highway* which really makes an impact considering competition doesn’t get more than 43 city MPG. The Accord Hybrid is making waves in the Hybrid category because not only is it fuel efficient, but it still gets 212 horsepower with the use of two motors! This is made possible by the fact that it can switch into Sport Mode for better acceleration.

Although we could go on and on about the 2017 Honda Accord in San Antonio, it might be better for you to see the car in person at Fiesta Honda. Stop by today for a test drive and let one of our helpful associates tell you even more about this incredible new mid-size car!

New SUVs in San Antonio: 2016 CR-V vs. 2016 Rav4

Summer is just around the corner, a perfect time to road trip of the many new SUVs in San Antonio! With so many options to choose from, how do you know what SUV is right for you? Fiesta Honda is here to help you out with that decision. We’ve compiled some research on a couple of SUVs with the goal of showing you which one comes out as your ideal vehicle. Let’s look at the differences and similarities between the 2016 CR-V and the 2016 Rav4!

Is safety a #1 priority for you? The CR-V EX/EX-L/Touring has standard HondaLink Assist, which means it has a unique GPS system to alert emergency crews to come directly to the scene when airbags deploy. The Rav4 does not have this capability, which would delay help if you were to be involved in an accident. In addition to this helpful feature, the CR-V also has better safety ratings! With a 5-star overall rating in the NHTSA crash test, the CR-V can’t possibly get any safer. The Rav4 only has a 4-star overall safety rating.

In addition to safety, the CR-V has better fuel economy than the 2016 Rav4. This 185 horsepower SUV gets 26 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway*. With only 176 horsepower and 24 city/33 hwy MPG*, the Rav4 doesn’t quite keep up with the CR-V. Bottom line? You can have power and efficiency in the CR-V! How cool is that?

Finally, the CR-V has features that make the drive overall more comfortable than it would be in the Rav4. The telescoping steering wheel is much better than the Rav4’s tilt steering because it allows a short driver to sit further form the steering wheel while still maintaining contact with the pedals. Also, in the CR-V Touring, memory seats are an ultra convenient feature when you have multiple drivers regularly. The final feature worth noting is the CR-V’s adaptive cruise control. Unlike traditional cruise control (like what the Rav4 offers), the adaptive cruise control adjusts to the speed of the vehicle without the driver having to. That’s a major plus if you’re a frequent driver!

Out of these two new SUVs in San Antonio, the CR-V reigns superior! Can you see yourself cruising the streets in a new 2016 CR-V? We surely can and would love for you to stop by Fiesta Honda today for a test drive!

2015 Toyota Highlander vs. 2016 Honda Pilot in San Antonio

Interested in purchasing a new crossover SUV in the San Antonio area? You’ve landed on the right page because Benson Honda is your crossover expert! We recently compared two mini crossovers, the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and the Honda HR-V. Now, we’re onto the SUV crossover class, which includes the 2015 Toyota Highlander and the 2016 Honda Pilot in San Antonio! Let’s see which one has more to offer.

The Highlander and the Pilot have similar safety features that include driver and passenger airbags, side-impact head airbags and four-wheel antilock breaks, just to name a few. However, the Pilot Touring/Elite has standard Parking Sensors to warn driver of obstacles that they might not immediately recognize, which makes it stand out in terms of safety. Those Parking Sensors could really make a difference!

In addition to more superior safety features, the Pilot also gets better fuel efficiency than the Highlander. The Pilot has an engine control system that shuts half of the engine’s cylinders down to increase efficiency, and turns the engine off when you’re stopped in traffic to save fuel and reduce pollution. The Highlander doesn’t have this engine control system.

Whether you carpool on a regular basis, go on frequent extended trips or just want to be stress-free during the next move, the Honda Pilot in San Antonio is the crossover for you. It has 8 more cubic feet of passenger space than the Highlander does, so not only will your passengers be comfortable, but you can fit an entire person more . And, with the second seat folded, the Pilot has 109 cubic feet of space while the Highlander only has 83.7 cubic feet. That’s a 25.3 cubic foot difference, which could make the difference on whether or not you have to call your husband’s brother’s roommate to bring his truck to pick up your new furniture piece. Speaking of trucks, they aren’t the only ones that can tow a large load. The Highlander can tow up to 1,500 pounds and the Pilot can tow a whopping 3,500!

It’s not difficult to decipher who is the real crossover SUV superhero here. It’s the 2016 Honda Pilot in San Antonio! Lucky for you, we have plenty in stock. Stop by our Benson Honda store today to take a spin in the all-new Pilot or to just shop around, we’d love to see you!
