Reduce Your Environmental Footprint with Honda’s Earth Dreams Engine

2014 Honda Earth Dreams Engine

The Earth Dreams technology has been implemented for fuel-only cars, as well as hybrids.

Honda only implemented their Earth Dreams technology in a few of the 2013 model engines, but their belief in the technology is strong. After seeing the fuel economy ratings of the 2014 models, all which have Honda Earth Dreams engines, our trust in their performance is just as strong here in San Antonio. A $215 million investment was just put into the Ohio plant where powertrain technologies and a technical training center will soon be built. That means even better efficiency in the near future. As if they weren’t efficient enough already. Continue reading

Waiting for the 2014 Honda Ridgeline in San Antonio

The 2013 Honda Ridgeline. Photos of the 2014 model have not been released yet.

Something we admire, and what our customers love about the Honda Ridgeline is how it is unlike any pickup trucks currently on the market. One of our favorite features here at Benson Honda is the sleek truck bed design, an innovation which distinguishes the compact pickup as a Honda. As with the other 2014 models yet to be released by Honda, we are really anticipating getting the 2014 Honda Ridgeline in San Antonio.

However, recent news has surfaced that the Ridgeline will be taking a break for a little while. Honda has announced that they will be suspending production of the model in September of next year to work on its redesign. Don’t get too worried though, this does not mean that they have given up on the Ridgeline. According to their production schedule, they will pick up with production in the second half of 2016.
