Honda is constantly improving and passing the benefits onto its customers – without raising the price.
Honda recently unveiled its updated 2012 Insight hybrid, and Benson Honda, a leading Honda dealer in San Antonio, TX, will soon have them in stock. The car now has a fuel economy rating of 41 mpg in the city and 44 on the highway and features an enhanced interior and additional features, along with a lower starting price.
The Insight’s fuel economy is the highest of any new vehicle available with a MSRP starting under $20,000.
The car features five-passenger seating, aerodynamic styling and five doors. When it comes to saving gas, aerodynamics matter, and Honda kept that in mind with the sleek style of the vehicle. The exterior sports a more distinctive grille design, restyled front and rear bumpers, and changes under the vehicle, all of which account for a 2 percent increase in aerodynamic performance.
The headlight and brake light reflectors have been changed, and Insight and Insight LX models have 15-inch wheel covers. Inside the car, comfort is key. The redesign offers more leg and head room in the backseat, better beverage holders that can hold larger drinks and a more supportive front armrest. The ride is also quieter thanks to more insulation throughout the cargo area and vehicle.
The Insight is one of Honda’s diverse line-up of environmentally-friendly vehicles, including the Civic Natural Gas sedan, Civic Hybrid, CR-Z sport hybrid and Insight hybrid. Honda was named America’s “Greenest Automaker” for the fifth consecutive time by the Union of Concerned Scientists in late 2010.
Whether you are crunching numbers or saving the environment, the Honda Insight has you covered on both. Come visit Benson Honda’s lot of new and used Hondas in San Antonio, TX, and take one for a test drive today!
